The Meet & Greet Job Fair
You are invited to take part in a unique event; come Meet and Greet your future quality employee – a highly skilled retiring soldier. This event will be held Friday, May 16, 2008 at Riley’s Convention Center, in Fort Riley.

The purpose of this networking opportunity is to connect area business people with soldiers who are within two years of retiring. These men and women have developed a wealth of experience during their career with the military, including a strong background in management and supervisory skills, and will soon be bringing their skills and knowledge to the private sector. The education level of this group ranges from High School diplomas to Master’s degrees. With skill as diverse as load planning, contract negotiation, event planning, personnel supervision and project management, Soldiers offer potential employers a broad spectrum of experiential proficiency. We invite you to have the first opportunity to recruit these leaders for your business and show these career soldiers, who have 20+ years of experience the benefits of pursuing post-retirement careers in our region.
